The production lines and the recycling activities are located in Perwez. The admin & sales offices are located in Huizingen.

Function

We are looking for a

Technical Specialist

You assist the Senior Technical Expert by focusing on both practical and conceptual tasks, such as (but not limited to) site visits, monitoring installation works, pre-work and product analysis, and technical presentations.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Site visits, on-site sampling, diagnostic, offering solutions
• Support the sales team for technical advises
• Write technical reports
• Validation of the quality of works carried out by the roofing contractors
• Execute the necessary project calculations (Bill of Materials, Wind Uplift Resistance, Moisture content and Vapor barrier)
• Update of technical documentation
• Participate to the day-to-day operational and administrative features

Profile

The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• At least 5 years’ experience in roofing industry
• Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in construction or equivalence through experience
• Strong expertise in waterproofing membranes and flat roof installations
• Dutch speaking with good knowledge of French, and some knowledge of English
• Capacity to work independently and rigorously, reliable
• Affinity with practical work / site experience. Hands-on behavior
• Team spirit & open minded
• Knowledge of the usual IT tools (Office Suite)

Language

• Dutch speaking with good knowledge of French, and some knowledge of English
